Free Speech Petition

To: NBC, CBS, Parent Companies, Advertisers, Corporate America
Don Imus has been fired from both radio and television. We at intimination.blogspot.com wish to change it. Take a stance for free speech and educated adults being able to choose what they listen to. Don't fall in to the cowardly advertisers version of America. Create your own version of America and stand up for the first amendment to the constitution. Certainly we do not condone nor agree with what Imus said, but the fact is he was quoting a movie, making a bad joke, and being a "shock jock." The fact is he has raised millions of dollars for charity and although he is responsible for what he says on the air, his listeners are adults that can make their own choices about what they believe and what they listen to. America does not need a scapegoat for the racial tension that exists in the world today. We can start a dialogue about race in America without ousting radio hosts. Lets start a petition targeted at NBC and CBS and their respective parent companies and advertisers. This petition is for the continuation of FREE SPEECH!
